Inpatient care is a term that implies staying overnight for care at the facility. At The Leaves, Christian Science nurses care for individuals through skilled nursing, spiritual witnessing, nurturing, cherishing, and comforting. The patient-to-nurse ratio is on average 3:1 so that a high level of individual care can be provided. All care comes with the expectancy of complete and immediate healing.

- Arranging transportation
- Assisting with personal care
- Providing appropriate nourishment and assisting the feeding process
- Assisting with mobility and care presently in bed
- Cleansing and bandaging wounds
- Instructing in proper care for meeting individual physical needs
- Reading aloud the Bible Lesson and Christian Science literature upon request
Eligibility
Any individual, regardless of age, financial means, or geographic location, who:
- Relies solely on God for healing.
- Is receiving treatment from a Journal-listed Christian Science practitioner when skilled Christian Science nursing care is required.
The Leaves also offers Inpatient respite care to those who are usually nursed in their homes by family members, by friends, fellow church members, or private duty Christian Science nurses. Respite care is available at The Leaves for a few days, a few weeks, or occasionally, for a month or two at regular rates for in-patient Christian Science nursing care. Respite care is designed to serve the needs both of those giving care and those to whom care is given
